Hi Friends,

It's that time...I'm putting last minute things together to leave tomorrow for my Heritage Makers Cruise! I am having so many different emotions right now.:-) I'm excited of course to be going on my very 1st all expense paid HM cruise. However, I'm also a little nervous and anxious about leaving Ashleigh and the puppies. :-) And of course...what if I forget something! Oh well...I suppose I just need to take a deep breath, try to get a good nights sleep and give in to all the fun and relaxation we are going to have.:-)

I hinted a couple weeks ago that there might be a Special for while I'm away.:-) Well...here you go! Of course I leave tomorrow...January 20 and will return next Thursday, January 26th. Welcome to a brand new year!

Hello my Heritage Makers friends,

I hope you all had a happy and safe holiday season. Our Christmas and New Year's holidays were wonderful. We had lots of friends and family visiting throughout and lots of fun was had by all. :-)

I'd like to thank each of you who have supported my business over the past year. I've been so fortunate to meet so many nice and thoughtful people while working my business and for that I am especially grateful. Business is actually really good and I'm looking forward to a brand new 2012.

In the coming year I want to make sure everyone gets as much support as they would like or need. I thought if we all had a time planned it might help to pencil some dates to stay caught up and even ahead with our special projects for this year. You'll find on the website I have updated my calendar for digi crops for the whole year. You'll find more details by clicking on the date of the event in the calendar. I hope this will help many of you to plan to join us sometime. It will be lots of fun and we are sure to get plenty of our photos and stories in some pretty amazing projects along the way! Please remember I will need an RSVP for planning and preparation. Also, with planning out a whole year in advance there is always a chance there could be a need to tweak a date due to an unforeseen unchangeable event. My goal will be to keep any updates current on the calendar. As well as a quick blog post saying something has changed and to check it out.

Many of you all ready know but in case you don't...Mike & I will be cruising with Heritage Makers in a couple of weeks. :-) Yes, I earned a FREE trip to Belize and Cozumel. My Dad is coming to stay with Ashleigh and the puppies so it will be just Mike & I. We are so excited! This will be my first to take with the company so I'm sure I'll have lots to share and talk about when I get back. In fact you might want to check out the blog while I'm gone, If I'm able to get online while away I'll try to post a little update or two of some of the fun. :-) And who knows you might even see a "blog only special" :-)

In case you don't get to that calendar right away or you don't notice...I have "2" Digi Crops before I leave on the 20th. I hope you can come digi crop with me either Thursday, January 5th at Panera or Friday, January 13th at my House. And yes, it's Friday the 13th...but hey that's just a superstition right? :-) Just be careful on your way over. :-)

From my previous posts you see I spendt my weekend at the Pet Fest in Old Town Spring. It was great fun but now I have a different kind of fun to take part in...an Introduction to Heritage Makers Webinar. I met lots of people excited about HM and all the possibilities it has to offer so a live webinar is definitely in order.

Here is the registration link for anyone who would like to tune in. I'll be giving an overview of all the various products HM offers along with inspiring you with some awesome samples and ideas. However, the really fun part will be when I log into my own publishing account and show you the digital studio and how easy it can be. 2nd Day of Pet Fest was great fun too!

Hi Friends,

I have some more furry cuties to share with you today from the Pet Fest! I was so happy to see several of my favorite friends and fellow HM fans at the festival today. I got a few of their four legged family members to pose for a picture. I just hate that I missed getting a picture of my friend Rachel. She even had her beautiful little girl with her. She is so beautiful! I hope she was able to get that nap she was anxious to have when I saw her. :-) Thanks everyone for coming by the booth!

Next you'll see the two sets of twins that I fell in love with last year at Pet Fest. :-) It was Miss Tina's Shih Tzu twins that gave me the fever to get another one myself. I suppose my Rocco can give her a great big thank you the next time he greets her so joyfully. :-)

Hi friends,

I thought you would love seeing some of the cute pets I got to visit with today at the Pet Fest in Old Town Spring. :-) Isn't it great when I can love what I do and have so much fun with these guys at the same time? Enjoy :-)

I wonder if my friend Steph's Standard Poodle Jessie would love to see these babies? :-) Steph is an awesome Mobile Groomer, I'm sure she could fix Jessie up really pretty!

This little guy is actually a "hairless cat" :-) I got to hold him, he was so sweet!

Ok...I better get some rest! I'll be back at it again tomorrow. If you're anywhere close to the Old Town Spring area this is a super fun event to come to. Come by my booth and say "hi". I'm on the corner of Preston & Midway by the Caboose.

Those of you that have been in touch with me recently are aware my beloved step-mother passed away from Cancer a couple months ago. My Dad & I are extremely close. In fact, Mike & I actually introduced the two of them and hung out like best friends when we still lived in Alabama. Since she passed it's been my mission more than ever to take extra good care of my Dad the way Stella always did and would want. I'm trying to gently convince him to move to Texas. :-) He is so independent and in good health as far as we know so I realize he'll want the independence of his own place. However, how nice would it be for both him and my family to have him close by. I decided this Father's Day to make a card that would be fun & sincere of how much we love and want him to make the decision to come on out here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it gets him just a little closer to that happening. :-)

You still have time if you want to create a card of your own. There are lots of great templates in the gallery. :-) Mine is already on it's way to Alabama. So EASY :-) I pressed publish and had HM stamp, stuff and direct ship!

New Products ... perfect for both home & business!

Heritage Makers has introduced a new line of products that are perfect for promoting your business as well as creating personalized family projects. When you click on the “products” button here on my website you’ll notice the product categories have been slightly reorganized. “Business supplies” has been added as a new category and links to specific information on the new items which include business cards (single and double-sided), an 8.5 x 11 flyer, an 8.5 x 11 booklet (saddle-stitched), and an 8.5 x 11 wire-bound book.

All of these products offer unique applications for home or office. As always, all are completely customizable in our State of the Art Digital Studio. And with our 50,000+ pieces of Premier Digital Artwork, the possibilities are endless!

I am especially excited about the full color magazine. The templates being created are so cool and creative. :-) While at HM Leadership Conference recently I got a sample to bring home that was done by a fellow Consultant for her husband as an Anniversary present. He said it was the best gift he had ever gotten. Everyone there ooohed and ahhhed over it! And just this morning I found a great template in our gallery for a child's kindergarten or private preschool. Sooo cute :-)) I can think of all kinds of ways to use this product. Important Announcement - Board Books being discontinued

I know this is sad news! I have loved the board books and when I heard it I was so dissapointed. On a brighter note...they have not gone away just yet so if we would like to get any done we still have some time. Also, I'll be going to HM Leadership Conference in a couple weeks and I'm hoping for some wonderful information and or announcements to help us all feel better. :-)

Here are the important details regarding the Board book timeline.

1) Users will be able to download board book templates and start new projects until April 30, 2011.
2) Board books can be ordered through June 30, 2011. Projects completed on or before June 30th will be available for viewing indefinitely to allow users to recreate their projects in a different book format

If you would like to get your board book created and or reordered let's make a plan and get it done! I'll be happy to help you in any way I can. Remember I have ongoing digi-crop opportunities for you to come work on your projects. Check out my schedule by clicking on the Calendar tab at the top of the home page.

I apologize...no I've not dropped off the earth

Hello,

I apologize for it being so long since I've posted and or updated a couple things. I've been working my business but not always able to be as focused as I normally would like to be.

Many of you are aware my step-mother (Stella) is in a losing battle with Cancer. I'm happy to say she is still with us. However, I'm also sad to say the strong fight she has fought is almost over. She & my Dad live close to Gulf Shores, Alabama in a little area called Loxley and for now I'm going to be here with them to help in any way I can.

My dad and I are extremely close and a little trivia is that my husband & I actually introduced the two of them 18 years ago. :-) It was immediately obvious they were made to be together. I don't think I could ever find two people more in love and suited for each other.

It absolutely both touches and breaks my heart at the same time to see my dad being so loving and sweet to Stella. He stays by her side every minute and looks after her every need. Sometimes so much so that I don't think even she knows she needed it. Hospice is coming in regularly now which is a huge blessing. However, he still insists to do every little thing he can himself as gently and sweetly as possible. Constantly I hear him say how much he loves her and how she is "his girl" all in the most loving kind voice.

I'd love to share the book I just finished and received here at my dad's for Stella. Putting this book together has been a labor of love for Stella and my dad and I'm sure it will be a treasured book to all of our family. I hope it will inspire you to get your families pictures and or stories put together. It certainly has inspired me to get on with my dad's life story next. And it's funny, when I had brought it up to him previously that I wanted to do it he would always say "ok, but there are not many pictures and I don't know what you would want to know". Now, just the other day he was telling someone who came by to visit Stella about hers being done and being here soon when he followed it by saying "I needed to do his next". You can bet this hard but quality time I am spending with my dad will be fruitful and blessed with wonderful conversations...and that book for my dad...well...it will definitely be done!

Cold weather has arrived and my husband Mike has taken some vacation. He is feverishly decking the halls with our Christmas decorations. :-) I don't know about you but I just love this time of year! Oh what a FUN weekend!

Old Town Spring Pet Fest 2010 was this past weekend and oh what a fun couple of days I had participating as a vendor. :-) I have to admit it was really hard to not come home with another little puppy. :-) There were so many adorable pets! It was so cool to see so many people that are just like me...in love with their pets. :-)

I wanted to share the cute 12x12 Scrapbook page I put together in my Digital Studio with some shots I took during the festival. I used one of the awesome templates available in the gallery so it took me just a few minutes to completely finish this cute page! I love how easy this is. :-)

65 days till Christmas! Believe it or not:-)

Yes, Christmas is coming at the same time this year! :-) With only 65 more days it's going to be here before we know it!

I have to tell you, this is my year to do better. :-) I have to be honest, I'm going to have an advantage. I'll create my one card just the way I want or pick the perfect template in the gallery and with a few clicks I can have Heritage Makers address & mail my beautiful card directly to as many of my friends & family as I would like. How easy is that? :-) I love it! And that is not using a label either. Addresses are written directly on the envelope with our families return address. Of course if I decided to have them all shipped to me I could hand write those addresses if I'd prefer.

I think I'll include a family letter too! With the HM Digital Studio I can put as much text, photos & embellishments that will fit on the project. Our friends & family will love that!

Oh and with this Sale I'm going to share with you in just a minute I'll be saving a whole bunch of $$ too! I can use my publishing points I get on sale on absolutely anything I want so many of them I'm going to use for our yearly calendar. I spoiled everyone last year so now it's a tradition. :-)

San Marcos Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Show

I just have to say what an exhausting but absolutely FUN day I've had here in San Marcos at the CK Scrapbooking Convention! My upline and mentor Amy Dickerson flew all the way from Salt Lake City to come attend and work the Heritage Makers booth with me and we have had a wonderful time. The response we have seen here in San Marcos has been exciting! Lots and lots of excited ladies falling in love with the Heritage Makers products. :-)

As an added follow up to all the great interest and questions we've scheduled an Introduction to Heritage Makers Studio Presentation. I am so excited to share the new product announcements with you all. Heritage Makers now offers 3 new Canvas sizes in a deep-depth wrapped style. I would say it's about double the depth of the original canvas's. They are simply gorgeous! They are available in the following sizes...

18 x 18
18 x 24
24 x 18

Next is probably the most exciting to me...It's a 12x12 fully customizable post-bound album cover!!! This product is absolutely fabulous and Heritage Makers tells us we are the first and only in the industry to offer this. You'll be able to insert both digital and traditional 3-D creations. It will come with 10 page protectors & post hardware. It will be easily expandable with hardware and additional page protectors available at your local hobby store. It will retail for only $49.95. Hello and welcome to August everybody!

I hope you all are enjoying this hot weather and last few weeks of Summer break for the kids. I know my Ashleigh has kept herself good and busy. So much so that I'm anxiously awaiting that big yellow bus to return. :-)

As promised I have a "winner" to announce for the Kelly's Special I gave for the introduction to my new blog. Thank you so much to all of you for all of your kind words about the blog and checked out the awesome little video. To be entered in the drawing you needed to let me know what Heidi had created to help her little girl go to sleep at night. It was of course what she calls a "tucked in" book. What a great idea! One I wish I had thought about years ago when Ashleigh was giving me so much trouble going to sleep. :-) I'm excited to say Gayla Buccino is the lucky winner this time and will receive an 8x8 storybook credit in her account. Congratulations Gayla! Keep an eye out, you never know when I'll slip in another Special for you all.

I wanted to share a couple canvas's I've put together from our trip to Hawaii. I hope you like them. I did the first in 20x8 of the Southshore of Oahu. And the second is 8x20 of a Hawaiian Sunset as we ate dinner on the veranda at the Moana Surfrider Restaurant in the oldest and I think the most beautiful hotel on the island. Just imagine the couple in the picture is Mike & I. :-) Of course it's not but we can pretend it was don't you think? :-)

I'm so excited to be leaving for Heritage Makers Reunion in about a week and a half. It's going to be so much fun! I'll be at the beautiful Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona for 4 days! Participating in these company events are always the best! We'll hear great announcements, see new product, get tons of great ideas and definitely laugh and play with our fellow Heritage Makers lots!

I'll be taking my laptop with me so I can periodically check my email and in the chance I'm able to post a blog update or two of the fun things we are doing. Also you never know what "Away from Home" Kelly's Special that might pop up...wink:-) At any rate I'll be anxious to return home so I can put together a wonderful New Product Showcase and share all that was announced. Definitely keep an eye out for that because you won't want to miss it!

Hello & Welcome!

I am so excited to be launching my new blog! Before I get started with my very first post I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Veronica of VK Design Company for all her hard work and patience in designing my new blog. If anyone ever desires help with their blog or website I would highly recommend her! She was a pleasure to work with! You'll find a link to her company on the left sidebar. And on a side note...don't be scared off by the long wait to get her. She is so very good and popular that it may be a while. However, I will profess once more "she is amazing to work with and well worth the wait"!

Now onto my very first Heritage Makers post. :-) I've got one of favorite Heritage Makers YouTube videos here to share in just a bit but first I'd like to share my plans for my new blog. It is my desire for you, my valued clients to find my new blog so helpful that you immediately want to bookmark the site and either sign up for blog updates or definitely check back often. I don't expect to be posting daily but I do intend to keep all current specials posted, give you quick tips and or useful information, update my calendar with training opportunities or events and hopefully inspire you at various times. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful. :-)

It's also quite possible you will see a "Kelly's Special" once in a while just for blog visitors. You'll notice you can "log into" your Heritage Makers account right from the site making it really easy to check out what is going on or see the specials as you go in and out of your account. I also hope you will find it's a great place to send any much appreciated referrals to check me and Heritage Makers out.
